The single-seater "Corsair" was the last propeller-driven fighter aircraft of the Navy to be produced
in the United States. Thanks to its unique appearance with the inverted articulated wings, it was
suitable as a carrier aircraft, but was flown by US Marine Corps pilots from runways in the Pacific
Ocean and enjoyed a special post-war career in Korea.
