JR，筆者是Junior的縮寫，該詞翻譯為小，初級，加上ELITE，可以翻譯為小精英、初級精英。如果考慮到NERF的玩具類型，也可以衍生為幼童菁英系列！年齡下降到6+！

Ultimate Starter附帶有兩款發射器，下拉二炮為Cadet，夜襲者式的為Scoutfire。

Cadet採用外置式載彈，載彈量2發，發射精英彈，泵動式上膛。

Scoutfire採用燧發式載彈，載彈量1發，發射精英彈，夜襲者式上膛。

兩款發射器中，Scoutfire是比較吸引玩家目光的發射器，準確的說是其巨大的上膛拉桿。在不計算聯名發射器的前提下，這是NERF有史以來最大的上膛拉桿，玩家可以至少放入三枚手指用以拉動上膛。這種巨大的拉桿甚至讓筆者誤以為是蓄氣式發射器的泵氣手柄，不過綜合判斷發射器的「設定」，筆者打消了這個念頭。

筆者推測這種巨大的設計是為了讓孩子可以更好的拉力力上膛、以及避免受傷。

兩款發射器均採用非常明快的淺藍淺綠為主配色，看起來甚至像是兩把水槍，這使得發射器看起來非常低幼，所以，發射器盒子顯示，本款為6+。

科普一下，NERF發售的系列中，除了RIVAL、Hyper與GEL FIRE是14+，其餘系列包括ULTRA，均為8+。甚至連我們公認的低幼系列，阿爾法系列，都是8+。在不計算Marvel、STAR WARS等影視聯名的5+發射器的前提下，JR系列是現如今唯一的6+系列。可以想象，這意味著發射器的射程會多麼的感人………XD

發射器盒子上的寫明「EASY PLAY」，可以翻譯為簡單遊戲、隨心遊戲，輕鬆遊戲，這意味著發射器上膛會非常輕鬆，即使6歲的小孩子也能夠輕鬆把玩，而延伸的意義，是射程跟初速低的可憐….

估計阿爾法系列今年只有一個異色Lynx雙支裝，其後再無新款，這可能意味著阿爾法絕版。而JR這個低齡系列的出現，極有可能是接替阿爾法佔領幼童市場。

NERF最近幾年開始了新的策略，區別於精英時代開始的幾個大主系列扛起NERF，新的策略是不斷推出新的主系列試水，找新的業務點，來測試市場的需求。這期間NERF推出了恐龍、龍與地下城、XL等系列。XL在出了三款後再無下文，可能意味著銷量並不好。而恐龍和龍與地下城，「江山代有才人出」，看起來是經受住了考驗，受到了市場的歡迎，獲得了延續。這種情況的出現可能是因為疫情影響，不過也不排除市場的需求改版、需求細緻分化、老齡化、少子化的因素。

JR系列，以及水彈系列（後面還有一支手動）、hyper系列的出現，可能意味著NERF開始將注意力從青少年向全年齡擴展，無論是6+的小孩子，還是18+的成年人，NERF都想納入目標人群之中。

也就是把錢坑再擴大….
