戰術套裝可以看作是去年Loadout Pack的設計版，誠然，升級面主要為外觀與配色。但是，還真沒看出這個套裝哪裡戰術了······

戰術套裝中所附帶的ACE是該發射器的第三個配色，主體為一種區別於老2.0發射器的較淺的藍色，上膛拉杆與扳機更改為極為罕見的淺綠色。綜觀NERF的歷史，除了Sneak Shot以外，NERF只在DART TAG系列和REBELLE系列旗下的發射器上使用過這種配色。配合套裝中發射器奇怪的配色，實在有理由懷疑這個套裝可能所屬於2.0旗下的一個新的子系列。

套裝附帶的TRIO三重奏同樣更改了配色，手柄配色更改為淺藍色，發射管外殼的配色更改為淺藍綠色，上膛拉杆與扳機顏色跟ACE一樣為綠色。

OPERATOR是戰術套裝中唯一的新款發射器，可以看作阿爾法系列的WOLF與2.0系列的Technician的合體升級版。它採用夜襲者式上膛，燧發式載彈模式，最大載彈量2發，設計有一體的尾托與瞄準鏡，發射管下方設計有一條NERF標準導軌。也是唯一有用的設計。

戰術套裝的受眾應為低齡兒童，發射器簡單的把玩方式使得孩子不會出現把玩問題，三把發射器和贈送的大量軟彈使得孩子對發射器的興趣可以更加持久，這使得期更會被爹的、媽咪青睞。
