Terrodak的包裝盒繪制的翼龍，根據恐龍圖鑒來看，可能是翼手龍亞目的長頭無齒翼龍。不過包裝圖和發射器又有牙齒，令人十分迷惑。綜合考慮，決定將其翻譯為翼龍，這個名稱辨識度最高，也最好記憶。

發射器側面有明顯的「翼」，大家都只注意到了發射器頭部的尖牙利齒。於是，所有的玩家都認為其原型為，鯊魚······

不得不說的是，Terrodak是目前恐龍系列，軟彈發射器中，辨識度最低的發射器。縱然其有著精美的外觀，但玩家幾乎無法通過外觀，如同之前的幾把發射器一樣，簡單的看出發射器的原型是什麼恐龍。

Terrodak的尾托帶有載彈夾，左右各4，這使得發射器的載彈量暴漲至12發，在一定程度上增加了發射器的可玩性和續航能力，並且使得發射器附帶的精英彈達到了12發。值得一提的是，發射器帶有額外的載彈夾可能是恐龍系列的慣例，目前已知的恐龍系列6把發射器中，僅有迅猛龍不帶有載彈夾。

Terrodak的下拉帶有防滑檔位，這增加了上膛的舒適性。
