Impulse採用彈倉式載彈，載彈量30發，發射hyper球彈，夜襲式上膛，單發。

可能考慮到供彈的問題，最大載彈量40發的Impulse，只能裝載30發hyper球彈。

跟昨天Evolve一樣，Impulse同樣採用了即時裝載技術，兩者的功能完全一致，不過不同的是，Impulse的彈倉較小，所以其彈倉整個透明的部位都可以打開。

Impulse看起來是綜合了fuel和rush的設計而成的，缺少了巨大的護弓，這使得Impulse少了大量的美感，並且顯的發射器的頭部特別的臃腫難看。

扳機鎖，被設計於左側，對於右手持握的人來說，這不是問題，但對於左手持握的人來說，這就問題大了。不過從卡彈處理按鈕的所處位置來看，可能是無奈之舉，設計師設計完內構後，卡彈處理按鈕只能安排於右側扳機鎖的位置，而扳機鎖只能單側於左側。

Impulse應該是一款為了豐富產品線而不得不出的發射器，長款手動必須要有一款小款手動配套，於是這麼一款外觀奇怪的發射器就問世了。並且發射器還有奇怪的手感，NERF發射器的夜襲者式，或者說是拉桿式上膛的發射器，大多只要拉出就能完成上膛。但根據球彈的內構原理，脈衝必須後拉再復位才行，這會使得NERF玩家，尤其是老玩家出現略微的排斥。
