第八章：方块家族
第1节：雄狮
魔鬼不会改变，改变的是你.The devil doesn't change, you do.
方块家族期初都是意大利后裔，他们凭借意大利黑手党的扶持在美国占据一席之地。
家族经过三代人不屑努力日渐壮大，其中方块k老Romano 罗马诺的家族最为强大，他膝下有一女一子，Angelo 安其罗是最小的一个儿子。
Angelo 安其罗自小情商很高深受家族长辈的喜爱，这也使得他拥有放荡不羁的性格，
年轻时常年流连夜店，风流成性，对家族的事业不太上心，面对Angelo 安其罗的风流不羁，方块k很是失望，将重任都交给给方块Q处理。
方块Q在帮派里的影响力也越来越大，掌控者方块家族大半资源和权利。但在方块2阿尔杰（Alger）的到来后一切发生改变。
起初老方块k看重阿尔杰的个人能力，想借助他来帮助帮派铲除掉一些棘手的对手，同时也想鞭策下安其罗。
但他没有料到阿尔杰不紧武艺高强，还有精明的头脑。
阿尔杰到来后凭借高超的武艺和胆识很快俘获方块Q的芳心，为了拉拢住阿尔杰但又忌惮他的能力，方老方块k只给了阿杰尔一个方块2的身份。
在阿杰尔到来后家族一些势力的人对安其罗也开始变得冷淡疏远，这让骄傲的安其罗心生不满,他总想做些什么赢得父亲和姐姐的态度。
在一次冒然帮派争斗过程中，他的右脸不幸被破相，这使得对自己容貌及其在意的安其罗性情大变，变得更加易怒和残暴。
有一次一个英俊的服务生和他的一个情妇偷情被他得知后将服务生的眼睛生生挖出扔进酒杯里令其吞下，
而面对苦苦哀求的情妇他则是将其舌头生生割下扔进酒杯里让其喝下......。
破相后的安其罗对夜场渐渐失去兴趣也开始渐渐发展自己得势力开始和阿尔杰暗自较劲，这也是方块k期望能看到的。
五年前在纽约近郊的一所监狱里，安其罗坐在探监室内，坐在他对面的正是不停咳嗽脸色惨白一脸病态的撒克逊。
“我可以给你找更好的医生，给你更换最好的医疗环境”安其罗双目盯着撒克逊说道。
“我时日不多，我想要的你清楚”撒克逊一边咳嗽一边说着。
“你和阿尔杰已经谈过了？我想我们也可以谈谈”安其罗嘴角挤出微笑着示好地说道。
“他的能力能让我安心下葬，我希望能睡个好觉做个好梦。”撒克逊苍白的脸上也挤出一丝微笑。
“我知道你看着他长大对他很了解，但是黑桃家族不是一个人能打垮的。而且这么多黄金和钻石我父亲也很有兴趣。”安其罗努努嘴双眼紧盯着撒克逊说到。
“你知道鬣狗家族吗，公狗在族群里的地位很低，成年后会被驱赶出族群，即便留在族群也是地位很低，我认为方块家族更像是母系掌控家族”撒克逊略带轻蔑地看着安其罗。
“如果我替你复仇成功我要所有钻石和黄金。”安其罗站起身很坚定地看着撒克逊。
“那你要尽早变成雄狮。”撒克逊仰着头意味深长地说道。
时间回到现在，黑桃家族的黑桃a和方块a安排在四方大酒店6层的一间总统套房里见面，这里是只专门供给黑帮家族会晤的场所。
大卫早已在房间内等候，他身旁站着健壮的黑桃8等一行手下。安其罗姗姗来迟带着一行众人走进房间落座，他身边站着一个高挑的女人--方块7。
“大卫，好久不见”安其罗展开双臂上前拥抱了下大卫，表面上的礼节还是需要的作秀下。
“安其罗,我们最近发生很多不太愉快的事情”大卫开门见山说道。
“那些都是阿尔杰所为，你也知道我拿他没办法”安其罗耸了耸肩无奈地说道。
“既然你说了不算，那我们还有必要谈下去吗”大卫撅起嘴角说道。
“我们之间可以谈下合作，你知道撒克逊宝藏的事吧，我这边有了点新信息”安其罗点燃一支香烟说道。
“你要合作，阿杰尔要复仇，方块家族谁说的算”大卫质疑地盯着安其罗问道。
“雄狮说的算”安其罗吐了一个烟圈冷冷地说道。
方块a的个人logo,钻石和王冠象征着权利和财富建立在血腥之上。

Chapter 8: The Family of Diamonds
Verse 1: The lion
The devils do not change, you do.
The Diamonds family, all being Italian descendants at first, took their place in America with the help from the Italian Mafia. The family grew over three generations, with old Romano, the K of Diamonds leading the most powerful branch. He has a daughter and a younger son, Angelo.
When Angelo was a child, he was indulged by the elders of the family because of his smartness, and this led to his unruly and obstreperous personality. As a young man, he spent most of his time in night houses and strip clubs and was not very interested in the family business. K was disappointed in him and left all the important tasks to his sister, the Q of Diamonds. Q's influence grows and eventually takes control over the majority of the families' resources and power.
But all that changed since the arrival of Alger, the 2 of Diamonds. At first, the old K valued Alger's individual ability and wanted to use him to get rid of some tricky rivals, as well as to spur Angelo on. But what he didn't realise was that Alger was not only a skilled fighter, but also had a shrewd brain. Thanks to his superb fighting skills and courage, Alger soon won the heart of Q. In fear of his ability and ambition but also wanted to rope him in, K only gave Alger a small card, the 2 of Diamonds.
After Alger's arrival, some of the family's other branches began to grow cold and distant towards Angelo, making the proud young man resentful and wanting to do something to win over his father and sister. During a gang fight, the right side of his face was unfortunately lacerated, which caused Angelo, who was very concerned about his appearance, to change his temperament and become more irritable and brutal. He once found out that a handsome waiter was having an affair with one of his mistresses. Angelo gouged out the waiter's eyes and made him swallow, then he cut out the mistress' tongue and threw it into a glass of wine and forced her to drink, completely unmoved by her desperate pleading...
After the face incident, Angelo lost his interest in the nightclubs and began to develop his own power against Alger, which was also what K expects to see.
Five years ago, in a prison in the suburbs of New York, Angelo was sitting in a visiting room across Saxon, sick and pale and coughing constantly.
"I can get you a better doctor and the best medical treatment possible", said Angelo, with his eyes fixed on Saxon.
"I don't have much time left. You know exactly what I want". Saxon replied as he coughed.
"You and Alger have talked? I thought we could talk too". Angelo squeezed a smile from the corners of his mouth trying to express some goodwill.
"He has the power to help me resting in peace, and I hope to sleep and dream well". Saxon also squeezed a smile from his pale face.
"I know you've watched him grow up and know him well, but the Spades family can't be brought down by one man. And with that much of gold and diamonds involved, my father would also be interested". Mouth grinned and eyes locked on Saxon, Angelo said.
"Do you know the hyena family? Their males have a very low status in the pack and will be driven out after they grow up. Even if they get to stay, they still have the lowest position. I think the Diamonds are more like a hyena family, a matriarchal one". Saxon looked at Angelo with slight contempt.
"If succeed in your revenging, I want all the diamonds and gold". Angelo stood up, looked at Saxon with determination.
"Then you have to turn in to a lion as soon as possible". Saxon said meaningfully, tilting his head.
Back to present, the Ace of Spades and the Ace of Diamonds has arranged a meeting in the presidential suite on the 6th floor of the Quadrangle Hotel, a place reserved for meetings between the families only. David is already waiting in the room, and besides him stands the sturdy 8 of Spades and a team of other men. Angelo arrives late and leads the group into the room and takes his seat, with a tall woman, the 7 of Diamonds, standing beside him.
"David, it's been a long time", Angelo says, spreading his arms and giving David a hug--superficial courtesy is still needed.
"Angelo, we've had a lot of unpleasant incidents going on lately," David replies, getting right to the point.
"It's all Alger's doing, and you know there's not much I can do about him", Angelo says resignedly, shrugging his shoulders.
"If your words don't count, is there any point left in our conversation?" David replies with a pout.
"We can talk about cooperation. You know the Saxon treasure, and I have some new information on my side", says Angelo, lighting up a cigarette.
"You want to work together, and Alger wants revenge. Who's in charge of the Diamonds family?" David stares at Angelo questioningly and askes.
"The Lion", says Angelo grimly as he exhales a smoke ring.
