To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Go Nagai as an artist, a new anime was released based on the original Devilman manga. The new anime depicts the original manga ending, which has never been shown as part of the anime. The anime is now streaming worldwide on Netflix. Gecco has released photos and details for a new statue based on the new Devilman Crybaby anime. There are two versions of the statue available. One is the “Real Color Version”, which depicts the characters with more realistic color schemes. The “Teaser Color Version” shows the characters in colors based on the original teaser for the anime. Each statue stands over 27.5″ tall and is cast in polystone. Currently, the statues are available via Aniplex in Japan, with additional retailers to be added later. Each version is priced at 150,000 Yen (about $1,328 USD). They are due for release in July.
